Wine region Valley of the Moselle

In the Mosel valley you will find the Luxembourg Wine Route with its spectacular vineyards and enchanting nature. The unique location on the banks of the Moselle and the mild climate provide the ideal starting point for the production of excellent wines.

On the special soils of the valley of the Mosel no less than 9 different grape varieties are cultivated, which are all characterized by their special characteristics. Thus, the area around Grevenbacher produces fine and lively wines where the wines from the marl soils around Remich are rather opulent.

Wine tasting and wine festivals

As a lover of good wines, a visit to one of the many winemakers in the region should not be missed. The winemakers are very proud of their product and are happy to share their passion and knowledge and, of course, their wonderful wines with visitors who share their passion for wine. For some years, the initiative "Wine tasting with friends" has given private individuals the opportunity to visit the Mosel winegrowers. These welcome the gourmets and the curious in their cellars and on their goods and organize wine tasting in a small circle. From spring to late autumn - with a clear emphasis in summer - visit one of the numerous wine festivals in the region.
